Greek Folk Dancers of NSW

We are currently running three main classes each week.

Tuesday night classes @ Pan-Korinthian Association
Level 1 / 11 Anglo Rd Campsie(in plaza upstairs from fruit shop)
Times for each group:
6:30pm - 7:30pm Junior Terpsichore group (3yrs to 12yrs)
7:30pm - 9:00pm Senior Polyhymnia group (13yrs to Adult)

Thursday night Adult Dance Classes
Marrickville Town Hall
Marrickville Rd Marrickville
Time: 7:30pm to 9:00pm Clio group (21yrs and up)

Friday Night Dance Classes - NEW
St Therapon Greek Orthodox Church Hall
323 Cumberland Highway - Thornleigh
Time: 6:00pm till 7:00pm Juniors Calliope group
Adults - 7:00pm till 8:30pm Adult Euterpe group

Our Group Names are from the Muses of Ancient Greece.

The Muses are the daughters of Zeus and Mnemosyne. They are known for the music of their song, which brings joy to any who hear it. There are nine Muses, each with her own specialty: Clio (History), Urania (Astronomy), Melpomene (Tragedy), Thalia (Comedy), Terpsichore (Dance), Calliope (Epic Poetry), Erato (Love Poetry), Polyhymnia (Songs to the Gods), Euterpe (Lyric Poetry).
